The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2001 Ford F-250 driven by 20 year old Taylor A. Amick of Nevada was traveling north and apparently stopped abruptly to make a turn, and was struck by a 2014 Chevrolet 1500 driven by 21 year old Augustus R. Cain of Richards.
Amick's passenger, a 17 year old female from Nevada, was listed with minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
