Janice Louise Harn, 65, has gone to be with our Lord. She was born in San Diego, California on December 19, 1956. She passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022, in the early morning at the Kansas City Medical Research Hospital, after complications fighting severe pneumonia.
She was the daughter of Ralph and Mary Remington/Kirkness. Our mother was the most caring and loving person I know, she will be missed by many.
She was a proud owner of Signs By Janis, in Warsaw. Later on, she worked at other places but found her home at Ferg’s Diner. Once she was no longer able to work, she then took care of her mother, Mary Kirkness, until she went to be with our Lord.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents; Ralph and Mary Remington/Kirkness.
She leaves two daughters; Crystal L. Harn, Warsaw, MO and Leslie Tucker, and her husband Matthew Tucker, Springfield, MO. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; Destiny M. Kumberg of Warsaw, MO, Dakota D. Harn, Maddilynn A. Tucker, and Zayne R. Tucker all of Springfield, MO. Two brothers; Ralph and Denise Remington of Warsaw, MO, and Donald and Vonda Remington of Kerman, CA. She leaves many nieces and nephews and her dearest friend, Jim Fergerson.
I know that she is no longer in pain and visiting with her mother and our Lord and Savior. She prayed and spoke to him every day and I know he was there, ready for her to come be by his side.
Arrangements for her cremation services are entrusted to the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, MO. No public services are scheduled at this time.
