Richard Dale Dahman, 81, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 11, 2022 at the Warrensburg Manor Care Center in Warrensburg, Mo.He was born March 14, 1941 in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Frank Henry Dahman and Myrtle Leola (Shipley) Dahman. He married Diane Loretta Brown on October 29, 1977 in Peculiar, Mo. She survives of the home. Richard worked for Pacific Intermountain Express (P. I. E.) from the time he was 18 years old until his retirement in 1991 after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Local 41 Teamsters Union. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, woodworking and refinishing antiques. He also enjoyed driving the tractor around, anything to be outdoors. He lived for his hog hunting trips to Texas with various members of the family. Richard raised and trained English Pointer bird dogs. In addition to his wife Diane, surviving are one son, Jeffrey Dale Dahman (Tami Sue), Clinton, Mo.; one daughter, Rebecca Lynne Charles (Steven), Warrensburg, Mo.; one stepson, Frank Allen Dunnington (Pamela), Parker, Colorado; six grandchildren, Abbie, Bethany, Elizabeth, Jake, Trenton and Sean; thirteen great-grandchildren, Jackson, Brantley, Jillian, Sydney, Evelyn, Penny, Shane, Boone, Grant, Porsha, James, Madison and Charlotte; one brother, Jim Dahman (Sherrin), Warrensburg, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Red Dahman; and niece Karen Lee. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., just prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in the Englewood Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from noon to 8:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
