The Adrian Blackhawks (12-2) defeated the Monroe City Panthers (13-1) today with a final score 32-16 to move to the Missouri State High School Football Class 1 State Championship on Saturday December 3rd at 3pm in Columbia, Missouri at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium.
The Blackhawks will take on the 13-1 East Buchanan Bulldogs who are trying to repeat as Class 1 State Champions, as they won last year over Marceline 21-7.
East Buchanan Bulldogs won today as they defeated the Duchesne Pioneers with a final score of 41-14. The Bulldogs was lead today by running back Trevor Klein who rushed for 6 Touchdowns, 5 Rushing and 1 Receiving, including over 240 yards of Total Offense.
Adrian will be looking to win its first championship since 2002, the 2002 championship team will be honored by MSHSAA for the Show-Me Bowl qualifiers on the 20th anniversary of their memorable appearance and win!
