Recently there seems to be an uptick in spam on local community posting pages. These post often reference “let’s make this guy famous for stealing catalytic converters” or one like this “help find who this lady is found in Bates County”. While we aren’t sure the poster’s motive we do believe it’s related to attempting to steal your passwords.
Please look at the validity of these post before you share them and report them when you come across them. Most of the time law enforcement will share a legitimate post wanting to identify or seeking help.
