The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the westbound 1999 Chevrolet S-10 driven by 19 year old Jaydyn L. Coons of Louisburg, Kansas traveled off the roadway and overturned striking a tree. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
Jaydyn L. Coons sustained serious injuries and she was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by J's Southland Tow.
