On November 16th around 7:30 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on T Highway just west of Austin Road in rural Cass County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2001 Buick Regal driven by 61 year old Clarence W. Shaffer of Mound City, Kansas struck a deer in the roadway, traveled off the roadway then overturned.
Mr. Shaffer sustained moderate injuries and he was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital for treatment.
