Visitation will precede the service from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the church. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Jerry Smith. Interment will be in the Appleton City Cemetery, Appleton City, Missouri.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Trinity Lutheran Church. They may be left at Hill & Son Funeral Home or at the church the day of the service.
Anita Darlene Hearting, age 91, of Lowry City, MO passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at her home.
Darlene (Foster) Hearting was born in St. Clair County, MO on June 17, 1931 to John Foster and Dessie Irene (Williamson) Foster Hart. She met the love of her life, John Ernst Hearting and they married on February 17, 1949.
During their 52 years of marriage, Darlene and John lived and worked on their farm in St. Clair County, Missouri. She had a real love of animals and raised chickens, pigs, sheep, calves, horses, peacocks, guineas, dogs, cats, goats, geese and all other manner of farm animal imaginable throughout her lifetime. She and John not only worked their farm but also raised their four daughters, the pride and joys of her life.”
Darlene was baptized in 1957 and confirmed in the Trinity Lutheran Church of Appleton City in 1958. She was a woman strong in her faith and was influential to all her family in her belief of the Lord. She had deep convictions and was protective of her family.
Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents John and Desi; her siblings: Sue John Lithchenfield, Roy Hart, Edith Constranstitch, Dorothy Hearting; her in-laws: Fred Hearting, Frank Hearting, Bill Hearting, Emil Hearting, Anna Hearting, Henry Hearting, Clara Hearting, Ray Hearting, and Charlie Hearting; her great-grandson Gabriel Oursler.
She is survived by her four daughters: JonEtta Brack (Frank), Clinton, MO; Diane Courtney (Thomas), Marshfield, MO; Mary Winter (Kent), Clinton, MO; Lisa Blackaby (Buck), Lowry City, MO; her grandchildren: Andrea Young (Todd), John Courtney (Ashley), Cameron Main (Chris), Jessica Fellhoelter (Kendall), Mallory Worrel (Ben), Adrienne Oursler (Zack), Jareth Courtney, and Bill Winter (Lindsey); her great-grandchildren: Brackston, Kendall and Christian Young; Gage, Mathew, Dakota, Phenix and Michael Courtney; Olivia, Alaina, Maverick and Easton Fellhoelter; Darcy, Judah and Libby Worrel; Verity and Trinity Oursler; her siblings, Mildred Dunham, Cletus Hart and Doris Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
