Estoal enjoyed sewing and knitting, “making gifts for children and grandchildren”, watching hummingbirds from her front porch, collecting music boxes, and growing flowers. Forget-me-nots were her and Kenneth’s “special flower” and Kenneth was always sure to bring them to her on special occasions. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include five children, Lorea Salcido, Bakersfield, CA, Lee Woodcook (Rosie), Vermont, Charles Woodcook (Leland), Nevada, Roger Woodcook (Neena), Bronaugh, and Dixie Vallaire, Gautier, MI; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Floyd Stepp, Nevada; sister, Helen Reynolds, Oklahoma; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Kenneth, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Doug Woodcook, and Kelly Woodcook; and three brothers, Robert Stepp, Orlando Stepp, and Coven Lee Stepp.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022 at the National Cemetery in Fort Scott, KS with Kerry Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
Following the service there will be a pot luck meal served at 219 W. Cherry St. in Nevada.
