Structure fire in rural Belton today

Today, members of the Belton Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in the area of Cambridge Rd and Cleveland Rd. The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

The Belton Fire Department was assisted by the South Metro Fire District, Grandview Fire Department, and West Peculiar Fire Protection District on this fire. 

The Lee's Summit Fire Department provided in station standby due to the length of time to extinguish this fire. The fire is currently under investigation.
