She has spent the last few years in kindergarten. In October of 2022, Amy completed her Institute for Multi-Sensory Education’s Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham Plus course.
This is an “accredited structured literacy course” that provides teachers with the understanding of the “structure and foundation of the English language as well as the research behind the science of reading.”
This IMSE program provides educators with “a basic knowledge of how to assess and teach students in all three tiers of RTI as well as students with dyslexia.”
