Update: Two vehicle accident at 52 West and I-49 in Butler

On November 23rd around 5:26 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Office, Bates County EMS, Butler Police Department and Butler Fire Department responded to a two vehicle accident at Missouri 52 Highway at the ramp to southbound I-49 in Butler.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the southbound 2008 GMC Envoy driven by JS Cruz-Granados of Des Moines, Iowa failed to yield and struck the westbound 2006 Chevrolet Malibu driven by 26 year old Samantha W. Sendejas of Amoret, Missouri.

Samantha W. Sendejas sustained minor injuries and she was transported by private vehicle to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
