Urich woman escapes injury after striking deer in the roadway

On November 8th around 7:55 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident in the southbound lanes of Missouri 7 Highway around 1 mile south of Garden City.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2020 Ford Escape driven by 70 year old Evelyn S. Harper of Urich, Missouri struck a deer in the roadway.

Evelyn S. Harper sustained minor injuries and she refused medical treatment at the scene of the accident.
