Rich Hill man injured in Bates County Crash

On December 4th around 11:57 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County EMS and Bates County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Route V just north of CR SE 6508 in rural Bates County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the westbound 2017 Buick Lacrosse driven by 86 year old Earnest R. Rushing of Rich Hill, Missouri ran off the roadway and struck an embankment.

 Earnest R. Rushing sustained minor injuries and he was transported Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
