Early morning semi truck rollover accident in St. Clair County

On February 20th around 12:10 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Clair County along with St. Clair County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a semi truck rollover accident in the northbound lanes of Missouri 13 Highway around 3 miles north of Collins.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2003 Peterbilt 378 driven by 55 year old David A. Sharon of Springfield, Missouri was northbound when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, and overturned.

Mr. Sharon was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of moderate injuries.
