Harrisonville man seriously injured in Johnson County accident

On February 21st around 5:17 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Johnson County along with Johnson County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Missouri 58 east of CR SW 1821 in rural Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the eastbound 1996 Ford F-250 driven by 24 year old Jacob A. Rushly of Harrisonville, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.

Mr. Rushly sustained serious injuries and he was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
